Ticket Booklets ARE AVAILABLE NOW. SSC Club Members may pay up front for a booklet, or collect donations for ticket value (approx. $2/ticket or $40/booklet) with all stubs and funds due by Dec. 1, 2015.
Sudbury Skating Club strives to provide affordable programming for all skaters within the Greater Sudbury Area. Without your help, this will not be possible. This program is a wonderful opportunity for skaters and clubs throughout Ontario to fundraise and create public awareness of the sport of figure skating. This is a major fundraiser. Over half of proceeds from money collected for distribution of the booklet go directly to our club, off-setting ice fees and other expenses, which in turn helps not only your skater, but all member skaters of the Sudbury Skating Club. The balance of the proceeds support skaters across Ontario with items such as bursaries, seminars, etc.
The Promotional Contest campaign is coordinated by Skaters’ Marketing of the Northern Ontario Section, Western Ontario Section, Eastern Ontario Section and Central Ontario Section.
WHAT IS IT?
A Promotional Contest with tickets distributed in Ontario. There are 20 tickets per book. The suggested donation is $2.00 per ticket. Value of the book is $40.00.
Club Share = $22/book
SECTION Skater's Trust Fund =$12
Administration (Tickets, Prizes etc.) = $6
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Each club skater is encouraged to commit to distribution of a ticket book from Sudbury Skating Club (value $40).
Skaters/parents ask for a $2 donation per ticket in exchange for a chance to win, making back the $40.
Additional booklets will be marketed by club volunteers at Registration and Events. Skaters/parents are responsible to return all ticket stubs no later than December 1, 2015. If you sell all your tickets and would like to purchase an additional booklet, please let us know.
